Family photo shoot

We did a little make-shift family photo shoot in our backyard today. Blake turned 6 months old yesterday (I can't believe it!), so we wanted to capture a few pics while we were thinking about it.

Dakota didn't want to be left out....

Here are a few randoms pictures from the week! =) In the first one, he's sitting up on his own (with the help of his arms).

Here he is talking to Dakota... (he's very talkative these days...lots of "ba ba ba ba's" and "ma ma ma ma's," although he doesn't know that ma ma sounds like mama. We'll just pretend he does. =)

He also LOVES to make raspberry sounds with his lips, which completely soaks anything within a few feet. =) Here he is in action...

When he naps, he likes to cover himself up. Any cloth object in the vacinity is fair game. =) In the picture below, he's pulled his favorite blanket up to his chest and the burp cloth is over his head. He usually has his blankie covering up his entire face (which we pull down once he's snoring).

And the grand finale.....his new favorite sound to make is a wierd squealing noise. See the video below. He does it ALL the time. We wonder why he hasn't lost his voice yet! =)
