The Chiangs in Brownwood

Greetings, everyone. Dalton will be your blog updater this evening. I must admit, this is my first trip into the blogosphere. I know most of you are use to the way Kristen puts her captions above the pictures. Since Kristen and I disagree on placement, for the following posts, all captions will be placed under their corresponding picture.

This past weekend, Jenni, Joey and Austin (my sister, her husband, their son), who live in China, made their way to Brownwood. We Skype with them every now and then, but we hadn't seen them in person since Austin was 3 weeks old. That was a little over a year ago. That kid is huge. Lots of teeth and walking all over the place. Since both grand kids were going to be under the same roof for the first time, it would only seem fair to let my mom and dad (Boomie and Hutch) come over. Cate, every one's favorite aunt, hobbled into town with the help of her fiance, Josh. Below are some pictures of our weekend together.

Grandparents in heaven.

Austin showing Blake what's up.

Somebody doing something funny.

Blake giving Austin the "crazy eye" for playing with that toy.

The kids with their kids.
(Now, I remember my dad telling me some time ago that Jenni
thought she was taller than me. Let this picture prove that
is not the case.)

Boomie and Austin dancing.

We busted out the pool for the boys. Blake splashed around, Austin taught him how to cram lots of toys in a boat, and Dakota bobbed for tennis balls. I never realized how white Blake was until he sat next to the nice, dark, olive complexioned Austin.

This was the best weekend EVER!
