Just a quick note...for Mother's Day and Father's Day this year, Dalton and I decided to buy each other Tom's Shoes (http://www.tomsshoes.com/). We'd heard about these at church last year and finally decided to treat ourselves. They just came in today, and seriously--they are the MOST comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. And I'm pretty picky about shoes. I've already decided that I'm going to have to buy another pair. =) The cool thing is that for each pair of shoes you purchase, the company gives a child in need a pair as well. They call it "one for one." And they don't just ship the shoes to kids overseas, their policy is to literally place the shoes on the feet of each child. A very cool thing. =) What a reflection of God's love!!
So, these were to celebrate our first year of parents days (well kinda, we found out we were pregnant on Mother's Day last year!). =)
Below are a couple of pictures that Dalton's Aunt Betty took while they were visiting last weekend! In the first one, Josh is there but Aunt Betty isn't. In the second one, Josh is gone but Aunt Betty is there. They swapped the role of picture-taker. She was going to photoshop herself in afterwards. =) She took these with her IPhone!
We are totally fans of TOMS!! Love them! Kade even had some TINY TOMS but didn't get to wear them much because his little feet were so chubby...hoping Ryne gets to sport them soon. Didn't realize that you found out you were preg on mother's day....i found out i was preg with Kade on mother's day. isn't that the coolest?? so, technically, Happy 2nd Mother's Day to you friend!
