Catching up.

I'm way behind and will be swamped for the next few weeks, so I thought I'd catch up today before the next long break. =) Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Dalton went to Florida over our Spring Break with the tennis team for a tournament (lucky guy!), so Blake and I hung out for several days by ourselves. We decided to drive down to Austin to meet the newest member of our extended family, Levi. He was about 6 days old and was in good hands with his big sister Tatum, his parents of course, and "Nana" (my Aunt Jan) was in town as well. =)

Last weekend, we saw both of our families, briefly. First, we met up with my Dad and brother (and family) in Dallas. We went out to dinner together (it just so happened to be my birthday as well), then spent the day at the Dallas zoo, which was fun for the kids (mostly just Adria) and adults. =) Jonah and Blake just hung out in the strollers most of the time. Here are pictures of our zoo trip.

Then on Saturday we drove up to Oklahoma to be with Dalton's family. His grandfather passed away, so family came in from all over to be together for the memorial service. It was a short visit, but a good one. We sure missed you, Glenda and Jenni! We love you guys.

Finally, this weekend, we went to Blake's first "friend birthday party," which was definitely eventful! Our sweet friends, Van and Cindy, invited ALL of their friends and family. It was CRAZY. She whispered to me as we were leaving..."we are NOT doing this again next year." Amen to that, Cindy. =) But it was definitely a fun party--the kids loved it, and their little guy, Isaiah, was not shy at all when it came to demolishing his cake!

It took SEVERAL wet wipes to clean him up. =) Now I'm off to a conference where I get to give a seminar on my dissertation AND see some of my best friends from Columbia. =) Can't wait!! Then we have more visits from family the next two weekends, so pictures will be coming again soon. For now....sleep. =)
