Two very eventful things going on in the past week....my baby boy turned 1 year old AND my sister-in-law got married!! So, the first post has birthday pictures, and the 2nd post has pics from the wedding weekend.
For Blake's birthday we tried to celebrate while my family was in town for Christmas. Unfortunately, I made a rookie mom mistake and didn't time it very well. Blake was tired, ready for a nap, and not in the party mood (as you can see in this series of pictures, poor guy). We tried again while we were in Houston (at a better time of day!) and got some great pictures. I think he enjoyed himself much more then. =)
Not excited about opening presents...but he did like his new truck and climbing on the boxes.
Once he was in my arms sharing my cupcake, he was all better. =)

At first he wasn't so sure about the cupcake....but soon he demolished it. =) I think he likes chocolate.
Yep, this one worked a bit better, as you can tell by the chocolate all over his body. It required a little sponge bath in the sink to get him cleaned up. =)
